The origin and true meaning of carnival

Carnival 1/5

A high priest calls upon all the tribes, to say farewell to all which is no longer needed, and from which lessons have been learned. Now it is time to celebrate the feast of the new round. Congregation shows the energy from the moment of the gathering as an answer to the call.

In different variations, we have celebrated this for thousands of years. Carnival is such a celebration of the new round. The core of this celebration is the procession, the parade. In Congregation, the members of the tribes carry their banner. The banners represent their identity, and, more importantly, they refer to matter. They share a knowing, which they celebrate. Congregation represents the intentions behind this gathering and the feeling the participants have by doing this: the sensory experience to be alive. Pure from the heart into the heart.
